inline skate sale

What size wheels should I buy for these inline skates?
I would like to know what size and kind of wheels I should buy for the following skates that are for sale in mercadolibre:
http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-33682723-rollers-decathlon-talle-42-negros-sin-ruedas-poco-uso-_JM
The rollers are size 10 (or 42 depending the numeration)
What’s the exact code of the wheels that I should buy? I just want them for recreational skating.
Thanks!
There is no way to know from the description or pictures. From a translated version of the page, the seller seems to be unwilling to let people know what size it takes.
They look quite old and the wheel size might be quite small (72mm or 76mm). A reasonable adult skate typicaly will accept 80mm or larger wheels.
You will also need spacers and bearings for the wheels. The spacer depends on the axle size which looks like 6mm in the picture. (there are only two sizes, 6mm and 8mm) 8mm axles are not typicaly used on cheap skates.
If you have time, I would ask the vendor the following two questions.
What is the maximum wheel size that fits on this skate?
What is the diameter of the axles?
Otherwise, you will probably need to wait until you get the skate and then have to ask someone who can physicaly look at the skate (No one will know the sizes of an unknown brand by it’s name. If the skate was Rollerblade, K2, Salomon or Roces, you might be able to find out the sizes on line.
My recommendation would be to buy a skate that comes complete with wheels and bearings in good condition.
I have not had the good experiance with Hyper as the other answerer has. The ones I have had in the past have been slow.
All my wheels for the past 7 or so years have been Labeda or Zero Drag.
www.rollerbob.com/swheelkits.html is the source that I get my wheels from. The link I posted is to the kits with the bearings and spacers included. The standard skate bearings are known as 608 size. Any set you buy will fit as long as the wheel diameter is equal or smaller than the maximum for the skate and you get the spacers for the correct axle size.

With sports such as ice hockey and ice skating being one of the most popular forms of entertainment all around the globe, ice skates are nothing new to the average individual.
Boots having blades attached to the bottom and used to propel a person across the sheet of ice is called ice skates. There is a crescent shaped hollow creating two sharp edges on the bottom of the ice skate. The depth of this hollow (Radius of Hollow) varies with the ability, strength, weight and activity of the skater as well as the type of sporting activity and style of play.
Some skates like speed skates and touring skates that do not have a hollow bottom, have an efficient glide but it cannot cut ice effectively.
There are different types of ice skates:
Figure skates: This type of ice skates is specifically used in figure skating. Figure skates are leather boots with steel hollow ground blades extending an inch past the boot and small heel. In front of the blade there are toe-picks made of aluminum or steel. Toe-picks are used for certain jumps like ‘toe loop’, ‘Lutz jump’. Several layers of leathers are used to make figure skating boots. The stiff layers of leather provide ankle support to the skater. There are also vinyl boots for the beginners that are cheaper than leather. Recreational ice skates may appear like figure skates but they do not have the padding or support required for figure skating. These skates are made for those who simply skate for pleasure.
Hockey Skates: Ice hockey players mainly use this type of ice skates. These are made of synthetic leather, molded plastic or ballistic nylon. Hockey skates look like athletics shoes that angle the feet forward. The blades are almost as long as the boot and curved at front and back. This is to allow the player comfortable movement on all sides. The skates must be strong and durable to withstand the battering from hockey sticks, pucks and other players’ skates. Ice hockey players have their skates on for longer periods than figure skaters. Hence the ice hockey skates are padded and designed to give the comfort and support akin to the best ‘running’ shoes. The goaltenders of ice hockey use a special type of hockey skates- ‘Goalie skates.’ The ankle of such ice skates is lower than hockey skates to let the boot remain closer to ice. The boot is protected by hardened plastic. The blade is generally longer with a low curvature that helps in easy side-wise movement.
Bandy Skates: This type of ice skates are used for playing rink bandy and bandy. The boot is lower than hockey skates and made of synthetic leather. The blade is also a little longer than ice hockey skates to achieve and maintain higher speeds. Design of bandy skates are such that it does not injure the players.
Speed Skates: Speed ice skates are also called racing skates. These are completely different from figure skating and recreational skates. The design is to maximize speed while driving forward. The blades of such skates are longer than the boot and flat in shape to help glide forward. The type of speed skates where skate blade detaches from the heel to aid forward momentum when the skater is skating is called ‘slap blade.’ The boots of speed skates are made of lightweight leather or any such flexible material that allows foot movement during skating.
Touring Skates: The long blades that can be attached by bindings to hiking or cross-country ski boots are called touring skates. Such ice skates have long blades with a flat cross section making it stable. Such ice skates are mainly used to walk between lakes and non-skating sections. These are mainly used by mountaineers and trekkers and for non-competitive touring. The blades, which can be easily removed from the shoes when not in use, makes them particularly useful to the owner.

inline skates ebay

Do the sizes for inline skates match up to your shoe size?
I am a sz 8 what size do I need in skates? I am a beginner. I live 50 miles from nearest sport store and thought about buying on ebay. K2 brand size 8.5
Thanks for your help!
Drive or get a ride for the 50 miles is the best suggestion.
Skates need to fit your feet well. You want the skates to be snug all around your feet without crushing your toes. If they move around on your feet, you can’t skate well.
Different skates will fit your feet differently because the companies use different foot shapes for each model.
I bought my most recent skates online because I really liked that model in previous versions and Salomon was going out of business. Even for a couple year newer version of the same skates, they were slightly larger than the old version.
If you buy from ebay, you might get used skates that will cost you more to bring them back to good condition than to buy new skates and most likely (even if the skates are new) that you will not be able to exchange them for another size. Even if you can exchange them, how will you know if the other size is right.
One of my friends sells skates, wheels, and bearings. His main business in online sales of wheels and bearings but he will not advertise skates online because he cannot fit them to the people and doesn’t want to have people getting bad fitting skates.
In my experiance, most people want a skate at their shoe size or 1/2 to 1 size SMALLER than their shoe.
