Legal advice, got hurt inline skating?
About a week ago, I hit a stick while inline skating (rollerblading for people who don’t respect trademarks) and I fell. I got a pretty good case of road rash on my knee and elbow.
In http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhI9tIKcF86OS4fG0VpOwxGpDH1G;_ylv=3?qid=20090928071020AAaXT8Y Kebert Xela said that the person who got injured there was pathetic, a complete idiot, and needs to grow up. Does that mean, by extension, that I’m pathetic, a complete idiot, and that I need to grow up? Does that mean that I’m a bad inline skater who has no business on the trails?
I’m not planning to sue anyone, of course. The city doesn’t have any obligation to make sure there are no sticks on the trails, and I accept that there’s some risk while skating. Still, the fact that I screwed up all means that I’m an idiot, right?
Not at all.
That person is a pathetic immature idiot because they want to profit off of an innocent person/organization because of an accident.
Why do you think these two stories are at all the same?
====Update
I’m with Mike. If you have a problem with something I said, or think I crossed some line, you can e-mail me. Why post a rant that has nothing to do with Law Enforcement?
